This seminar will demonstrate how to launch workflows involving OpenSees and Octave (free Matlab) on the resources of the Open Science Grid using the pegasus software that is available on NEEShub. It will be highly useful to any research group intending to do large parameter sweeeps.

The following topics will be discussed:

  • What is a Workflow
  • Pegasus and the Open Science rid
  • Example Workflow
  • How to create your own and run it.
  • Summary and conclusions
