Hello dear friends,
I want to model LRB isolators in a 2d steel frame.
I designed LRB based on AIJ guideline which obtains mechanical properties (K-initial, K-post yield, Fy). I want to know if there is a material or element that only wants these properties.
Actually, I tried Elastomeric Bearing (Plasticity), steel02, and steel01 but unfortunately, neither of them had a good result. Could anyone help me, please?
About simulating axial force in the bearings, I used elastic material with high E and axialSP. Are these materials suited for this purpose?
