I posted something I would like to ask.
If you know how to find the residual deformation amount by vibration analysis of MDOF, please let me know.
For example, should we specify the cumulative type for the instantaneous stiffness proportional damping calculation?
In the 2MDOF model, I usually set it as follows.
I would appreciate your advice.
region 1 -ele 1 2 -rayleigh 0. 0. 0. [expr 2*$h/(2*$pi/$T)];

Sorry, it's kind of unclear what you're asking.

Re: About residual deformation
You can record all displacements and the residual displacement is the one that you have when the dynamic response stops (i,e velocity becomes zero and stays zero)

Dear selimgunay
Thank you for your polite advice.
Let's output the velocity as well, and verify the displacement where the velocity continues to be 0.

Re: About residual deformation
Sounds good
