Changing model during analysis (stage analysis)

Post by samansadeghii »

Hi everyone.

I just wanted to know if there is a command to alter the characteristics of models during analysis. For example, in a pushover analysis, I want to replace some rigid connections by a pin connection after analysis under gravity loads. How can I do that?

Thanks in advance.

The remove commands allows you to remove certain parts of your model. After removing, you can add new components

Thank you very much for your reply. But isn't that better to model the connections by springs? The stiffness of springs can be adjusted after the dead load analysis.
