basicDeformation

Post by martinmasanes »

Dear all:
I have some doubts about the basicDeformation recorder. I know that the output of this recorder is <eps> <theta1> <theta2>. I want to know if theta1 and theta2 have units or are unitless (basic unit of distance in the model is mm)

thanks

thanks, can I ask you another recorder question:

When I use the ForceandDeformation recorder the output is [<eps> <kappa> <P> <Mz>] for a given element, but i dont know what is the difference (because they are different) whith the <eps> and <theta> from the output of the basicDeformation recorder.

If you can help me with your opinion, what I want is to catch the moment and curvature of a column and a beam, so wich recorder should I use?

thanks again for your reply!
