New commands

Post by javidsharifi »

Dear all,

As far as i know the available opensees manual dates back to 2007. is there any newer version ever published? How can one have access to newer form of old commands or to newly developed ones?
Thanks for the help beforehand

the command manual was moved to an on-line version back in 2007. we have no intention of going back as it proved too cumbersome to coordinate among the developers and the developers had no feeling of ownership. the location of the manual is:

Thanks,
i think it would be good if there were a way users would get aware when a command was added or modified, e.g. through automatic emails to registered users
thanks for the link

Instead of automatic e-mails to users, you could create a change log page, similar to the log page of the software: http://opensees.berkeley.edu/OpenSees/changeLog.php I think this would be easier to create and more informative, since all changed will be listed together.
