Damage due to Ductility or energy

Post by Ryan Deng »

Hi there,

when we use the hysterecit material model, there are to damage indices, damage due to ductility and due to energy. Ayone can provide any reference for the damage indices?

Thank you.

i am trying to figure that one out, too.
you should go to the code, and see who wrote it, and contact them.
it's faster if you do it, than I.

Hi,

I also need some references for these two damage indices. Does anyone know if these indices are unit independent or not? From the manual they seem to be unitless however I could not be sure.

Thanks
