I am trying to model the contact between reinforced concrete beams/columns and a masonry panel. The beamcontact2d function works when i use an elastic section for the beams/columns. however, when i try and use a fiber section to model the beams/columns, the model doesn't work.
Is there a way of using a fiber section in conjunction with beamcontact2d?
Failing this, is there another of modelling RC section without using fibers?
