Recorder problem about section Elastic

Post by ionwang »

Dear all,

When I used the command "section Elastic $secTag $E $A $Iz <$Iy $G $J>" to define a section for a nonlineareamcolumn element, How can i record its stress and strain of this section?

In the recorder command "recorder Element -file ele1sec1StressStrain.out –time -ele 1 section 1 fiber $y $z <$matID> stressStrain", "$y $z" make any sense in this section?

Thank you all!

The only valid queries for elastic section are 'force' and 'deformation'.

Here is an example: recorder Element -file ele1sec1StressStrain.out –time -ele 1 section 1 force
