ver 2.2.1

Post by yalham »

Dear Silvia,

I cannot execute OpenSEES ver. 2.2.1 on windows-XP. I checked it on an old PC and a new laptop. In both I had problem with XP, but it is okay on windows7. Is it a general case?

Thanks, best regards

i cannot get this error to occur on the machines i have access to .. there may be a fix, but as i cannot duplicate it i cannot tell if the fix will work .. it only seems to effect certain xp users.

would you be interested in checking to see if this fix will work:

Thanks for reply,
I installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package but it does not help. Is it related to Microsoft, and if yes what should I ask them.

I have the same problem with running OpenSees 2.2.1 on Windows 7 (x64).

The error reads
"The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)."

Any help is much appreciated.
