Uplift

Dear all

I am studying nonlinear dynamic analysis of RC frame (2D) including soil-structure interaction. The finite element approach is used to model the interaction system, which consists of structural frame members, soil layers. I molded soil and foundation by element quad.
I would consider uplift between soil and foundation, but I do not know how do this model.

Can every one model the uplifting?
