How to evaluate damage indices

Hi
I want to monitor damage index response of a steel frame during an earthquake duration and i am wondering how to introduce these damage indices in OpenSees. The desired damage indices are Modified Park & Ang, Bozorgnia and Bertero. The most challenging part is how to obtain dissipated energy during hysteresis manner of an element.
Please help me through this.

you can calculate the area of under diagram of hysteresis curve.
but any one know what order we have use?
