Strain rate effects

Is there any special approach to model strain rate effects in Opensees? Is there any new material?

Apparently it needs some coding and modification in program codes. I wanted to know whether anyone has tried to introduce a simple approach to consider these effects in a more simple way within the Opensees. do 1.7.5 & 1.7.4 have this ability?
