questions about rigid link :error in transient analysis

Post by shahabshamlou »

hello to all
I modeled a 2D frame with shear wall building. I used rigidLink beam to bond the shear wall (dispBeamColumnInt) to the frame. It works very well in Gravity analysis and pushover analysis but transient analysis doesn't work. I have below alerts that related to constrained nodes with rigidlink beam.

"Warning PlainHandler :: handle() – constraint matrix not identity. Ignoring constraint for node 6."
"Non -varing assumed."

But I need rigidLink beam to model the structure.
What is the problem? How I should solve it? :)
please help me

truly I am not the right person to answer you but I will give you a suggestion
put your constraints to Transformation mode
and check if you have used equal DOF in my opinion change it to zeroLength element
I hope it will help you

dispBeamColumnInt is not intended to be used for cyclic loading. It only works for monotonic loading.
