can you give more detail about you model?

you need to build it up using rectangular cross patches or use a graphical tool like xtract, OpenSees can actually read an xtract file.

hello fmk! now i want to build a column with irregular section ,at the middle of which is a rectangular ,two sides of the rectangular are half circles. the section looks like a sports ground .

th this condition ,shoud i divide the section into three parts:a rectangular and two half circles ?

divide the box to 4 rectangles, and build each using command
(patch quadr).
