what's the difference between ElasticBeam2d and ForceBeamColumn2d?

the ElasticBeamColumn as it names implies is the standard elastic based element whose formulation can be found in any text book on basic structural analysis .. the ForceBeamColumn (a.k.a. nonlinearBeamColumn in the interpreter) is a force based element for nonlinear analysis.
