Can I see visually my model?

Post by fast98 »

Hello Silvia:

As you know I need to see or visually check out whether my model looks appropriate or not. How can I visullay take a look at my tangeible model, including node information and element connectivity in lieu of "print node or ele function"? If not, please let me know what alternative ways to investigate my error or debug functions provided by OpenSees.

Thanks for your help,
Patrick

there are also some simple scripts for viewing the nodes and elements, see the examples manual, ex 6 for 2d and ex8 for 3d.
