What's the computation method of aggregator ?

Can anyone help me to know how an aggregator works? How was it implemented? I mean what's the basic formulations beyond the section aggregator? Please give me some references, formulations or tell me what is that procedure called so I can find it in textbooks or something? Thank you very much.

there are no references or textbooks to look at .. it simply builds up a section response from the components .. the resulting section stiffness matrix is just block diagonals, each block coming from
a part of the aggregation .. there is no interaction between them .. it is quite trivial, suggest you look at the source code.
