that's a great idea.

the recorder is there, just not post-processed.
find the folder for the analysis results (not the processed folder) and you will find a file called allnode_acc.out. the recorder data is there.
to find out the node numbers, look at allnodes_acc.txt

Hi Silvia/Duke,

Could you please help me, I got this error message when I input a groundmotion file:

unmatched open brace in list
unmatched open brace in list
while executing
"llength $LoadCombinationValue"
(procedure "saveToBuildingTclFile" line 173)
invoked from within
"saveToBuildingTclFile CurrentData.tcl"
(procedure "saveThis" line 75)
invoked from within
"saveThis Load"
("eval" body line 1)
invoked from within
"eval "set thisLoadLabel $NewLoadLabel;saveThis Load""
invoked from within
".wBuildingTclViewer.pwPanes.frame.fSaveButtonsFrame.lSaveAsFrame.bSaveAs invoke"
("uplevel" body line 1)
invoked from within
"uplevel #0 [list $w invoke]"
(procedure "tk::ButtonUp" line 24)
invoked from within
"tk::ButtonUp .wBuildingTclViewer.pwPanes.frame.fSaveButtonsFrame.lSaveAsFrame.bSaveAs"
(command bound to event)

I still can't figure out what the problem is, could you please suggest me a solution?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi Duke,

Thanks a lot for your help, it works. Sorry to bother you again, but now I got another error message when I try to run the analysis:
:: ERROR :: cannot open file C:Program Files/BuildingTcl_Release1.9/GMfiles/H-E011040.AT2 :: Unable to define Load Pattern for Load EQ1 used in Load Combination 7

Do you have any idea to solve the problem?

Thank you so much for your help.

Hi Duke,

Yes, I put the groundmotion (from the demo files) in that folder. I already sent my model to your email. Thank you so much for your help.

Hi Silvia,

I don't know why but the same model somehow can be run by Duke but can't be run in my PC. Duke suggested me to change the tcl version, I changed to ver8.5.9, but the problem is still exist. I tried to make a new model but the problem still persists. This is too strange, could you please help me to solve this problem? Thank you very much in advance.
