determining the ultimate displacement of a RC column

Post by mehdi1995 »

hi
I wanted to determine the ultimate strength of a column so I used a Fatigue material with max strain of 0.014 wrapped around my core concrete,
when the program puts"fatigueMaterial..excessive strain" does that mean the column core has reached the max strain?and when this message is shown what does the it mean when it is shown 3 times or 4 or 5 times consecutively and then the push goes on and again the message is shown?!

the benefit of Open Source source code is you can have a look at it to see why something is happening .. so either i look at the source code and tell you why .. or you look at it yourself .. so here your are (hint just look for your error message):

can I fined out how many of these regions reach the ultimate strain?
