applying Push load in different angles

Post by mehdi1995 »

hi
i want to apply a push over load in directions different than x y z like a 30degree load with respect to the x axis.
do i have to factor that load in to two loads in directions of x y ( Fcos(30),Fsin(30) ) and apply it in the load pattern?or is there another way?
I'm asking this because when using this procedure for applying push loads and the fact that my column is completely symmetric the results aren't the same as it should be!!!

you either rotate your model or transform the forces.
