Using 3D-elements in OpenSees

Post by hugo.esquivel »

Hi Silvia. I would like to use three-dimensional elements in OpenSees to take into account shear, axial and moment load effects on an RC element... but since the on-line manual does not deal with 3D-elements, I was wondering if OpenSees doesn't come with that feature out of the box.

Many thanks in advance.

Yes, you're right. Sorry.

Do you mean block3d command? are there more commands available?

Thank you!
