tcl/tk installation

Post by eerduran »

Hi there,

I have recently re-installed Windows XP and now I am trying to install the latest version of tcl/tk (8.4.6). After I download the exe file (already repeated this part), I run it and it asks for the target directory and such. when I click next, it does not do anything except creating empty folders. Has anyone experienced this problem and has anyone manage to install this version on XP.

Thanks

Emrah,

I have installed it on XP make sure you are logged on as an Administrator and have your anti virus turned off. Are you downloading the ActiveTcl8.4.6.1-win32-ix86-99631.exe file from this FTP server?
