Maximum displacement during Time history

Post by mkumar07 »

Dear Frndz,

Is there any recorder available, that provides maximum displacement during the time history analysis at any given node.

Cheers :D

Dear silivia,

First of all thanks for the prompt reply.

I have one more question though, normally the output we get from recorder is stored in a file. Is it possible to store the recorder output in a variable or array so that I can use the output further to program.

Actually I am trying to develop small program to generate inelastic spectrum with known ductility.

Kind Regards,

Mukesh Kumar :)

you should do it in post-processing anyways, so then you read into a variable.
do look at the script that has been posted for the response spectra.
