Recorded Data

Post by ugurozen »

Hi, I started to use OpenSees. I learn from OpenSees website by applying Basic Example. When I try to record data to file, the file exists but nothing is written in file. I dont know why. Help Please!!

Hi, I encountered same problem and I has solved by closing OpenSEES window after OpenSEES finish to calculate. And you can try to do it.

1. Don't forget to create the folder firstly;

2. use the command ''wipe' after the whole analysis;

3. Many other typos in your script may also create zero-output.

Not clear from your post if you using Tcl or Python. If Python, read this: https://wp.me/pbejzW-Si
