How to define shear spring for circular section?

Post by parasismique »

Dears colleagues,

I'm working on shear failure about circular section column.
Concerning the shear limit in OpenSees manual, i have something confused!

In the input of curve, i should input the section b, h, but it's for rectangular section.
What should i do to define b, h for circular section?

I appreciate your help. Cordially.

There should be no difference for a circular or rectangular section in terms of using the shear limit material
