Mode shape display for 3D

Post by jonade »

I am trying to use this example, 3d Rc Model, display Modeshape function but I can't seem to get it to work. The Deformed shape option works but the option for Modeshape hangs. I checked which line of the code is responsible for this and I have found that the -nowipe option for display recorder is the reason. But I am not sure how to modify it to make it work. If anyone can check this example it would be a great help. Thanks "http://opensees.berkeley.edu/wiki/index ... _W-Section"

You can use the eigen option for the node recorder to get the mode shapes
