Hi
I have modeled a 2D steel moment frame (4 story) with RBS and PanelZone with Period (1.57s) that verified by a paper , when i eliminate PanelZone ,the Period increases to 4.5s , what's the problem ? should we always model RBS with panelzone or we can model RBS individually?

apparently after removing panel zones the frame stiffness (or less likely the masses) has changed significantly. could you put your code here for examination?
