quatity of points to calibrate histeretic material

Post by kcorproro »

hi, I try calibrate a histeretic material in a "spring rotational" with the experimental result, I use "uniaxialMaterial Hysteretic" with a displacement control, but the response is very different if the displacement curve (INPUT) have 20000 points or 4000 points, but how? if the curve control is the same??(same max and min displacement)
I dont understand that quantity of points of the control curve are necesarry to calibrate to "spring rotational". :?:
thanks for your help. :)
