Direction of records apply

Post by engnomran »

Hello every body
I model a bridge and do analyze of time history.
I have got a question about direction of records apply(apply angle).
I want that records apply in angles of 5 and 10 and 20 and 30 degree to my model.
How can I apply direction of records? which one command??

your only option is to either rotate the model or rotate the records.

You may decompose the records into two perpendicular directions by cos and sin.
