failed when reduce time step integration

my model is a 3D structure with fiber elements.

when I run model with time step = 0.01 sec, it converges, but with time step = 0.005 and 0.008 , it doesn't converge. why?

in 2D analysis I can use PIM material with Von-Mises and PDM material with dr*ger-pruger type.

PDM material is for clay and PIM material is for sand, is this true or am i wrong? :lol:
