I am trying to model a 3D steel frame with panel zone elements. I am now facing the same problem with my model using panel zones. Could we have a discussion regarding your modeling strategies. I would appreciate any help I can get.
Thank you,
Smrithi

Element compatibility in a model
Dear Dr. Silvia, While modeling a 3D frame with panel zones, would there be compatibility issues when using displacement beam column elements for the main frame and truss elements for the panel zone?. I am facing issues in my modeling when using these two different elements.Could you give me some in...

Re: ProfileSPD
Hello kavir,
Were you able to figure out the solution to this?. I am also facing the same problem with my model when using the Modified Ibarra-Medina-Krawinkler Model with Bilinear Hysteretic Response. Could you give me some insight into what the error might be.
Thanks

Modal Analysis
Hi, I am relatively new to Opensees and I have been modeling a 3-D high rise building with beam and column springs at the joints following the Ibarra Krawinkler model. But the model is not working for eigen value analysis and it gives me an output that states: ProfileSPDLinDirectSolver::solve() - ai...
