1. Why is the ductility factor used in the example as high as 1000?
2. Shouldn't the spacing be 0 for continuous wraps as opposed to be the width as mentioned?
3.Why is it that only mm and Mpa are to be used? Or does the note imply the units used for the example?

I have the same question reagrding assuming 1000 for the ductility factor. Also, when we define a circular cross section with confinedconcrete01, does the outer radius in the "patch circ " command include the thickness of the wraps?

Is it necessary to explicitly apply section multiplier to calculate reduced shear area and moment of inertia in opensees, to account for cracked section properties, like it's done in SAP 2000?
