Concrete Columns under Axial Compression
Hi everyone, I have a problem when simulating the Behavior of Concrete Columns under Axial Compression as follows: I used 2D 2-nodes column with the forceBeamColumn type to model the columns made by high strength concrete (90-100 MPa) and high strength reinforcement bars (785 MPa). However, I got th...

Problem with Bond_SP01 ?
Dear everyone, I am trying to use Bond_SP01 material for my simulation but I dont know where I have made a mistake. This code works very well without ZerolengthSection, but when I modified to add ZeroLengthSection Element, it doesn't run. Does anyone take a look and check for me? Thank you very much...

Stress-Strain Cuver for Steel Fiber Reinforced Concrete
Hello everyone, I want to model the behavior of Steel Fiber Reinforced Concrete (SFRC) that has more ductility than normal concrete. So that, the descending part of the stress - strain curve of SFRC should go down gradually than the normal one. But I tried all the concrete class available in OpenSee...

Reactive Powder Concrete
Dear all,
I want to model a concrete material that contains an amount of steel fibers inside but I don't know what kind of material in OpenSees could be used for this.
Does anyone know how to do this in OpenSees? Please give me some suggestions. Thank you very much!

Re: How to apply an uniform load?
Dear Vesna,
I used the element type "bbarBrick" with block3D to model this beam. So that at the loading point, I don't know how to create an element to use the command -eleLoad.

Re: How to model FRP material in OpenSees?
Hi Mohammadf,
Thank you very much for keeping your time on my issue. Could you tell in more detail for me, please?
In my problem, I want to model FRP material as an elastic-brittle material, it has 2 kind of modulus, that are, longitudinal and transverse.
So how can I do that?
