Dera Pallavi and all I think there is no such single executable as processor in the link u r referring to. It is a collection of m-files which can be installed as a toolbox in MATLAB and used therefrom. The files are there in the link as a zip archive, if i remember correctly. Can anyone who have us...

Dear Vishal, I hope u did not modify the Makefile ! It is the Makefile.def file which i had put in this site and NOT the Makefile. If u have accidentally modified the Makefile, then pl. replace it by the one extracted from ur tar ball archive, i.e. opensees1.7.x.tar.gz u downloaded. I think it would...

Pl copy the Makfile.def carefully
I think Aneeman's message gives u an idea what might have happened. Pl recopy carefully the Makefile.def from this site. Be sure not to leave any character unselected before copying. The same file has worked for me, Pllavi and others in quite a large nos of PCs. So I think it should work for u as we...

Re: Reg Installing OpenSees using X11
Dear Vishal,
Yes, you need to replace the original Makefile.def by the new Makefile you got. Save the original makefile.def in some other name and rename the new one as Makefile.def and place it in the same folder where the earlier one was.
Best wishes

Hi, I have not used RHEL 3, but i presume it would be more or less similar to Fedora 5. In that case u may try the Makefile.def that i posted as a reply to Pallavi's question in this forum(possibly in March 2007). It also contains detailed instruction suitable for a newbie. Look at the file, particu...

Problem in Web Page - an addition
Hi fmk and silvia,
I had put one post regarding GUI with a voting option. However, some users have reported personally that the poll option is not working. So i tried to poll myself and it was available after login.
Is it a problem or normal to allow to cast vote only after logging in?
Regards

GUI for OpenSees : Do you think Gmsh a viable option?
Hi all, By and large it is agreed upon that provision of GUI for OpenSees is one of the priorities for enabling large number of users to use OpenSees in solving practical problems. Different developers have added various interfaces, some of which work only in Windows platform. More over, they are ca...
